From the first time I touched clay in May 2017, I was hooked. That September I began writing the Confessions of a Novice column in ClayCraft magazine, and I've been obsessed with clay ever since.
Based in the heart of East Anglia, I have a small garden studio and freedom to play in there only two days a week. Those days are precious and so I make the most of them, only making what I'm inspired to create.
I primarily use stoneware clay, though sometimes porcelain, and fire in an electric kiln. Glazes are sprayed, dipped or brushed, and sometimes applied to raw clay, removing the need for bisque-firing.
I share photos of finished work and work in progress, as well as process videos via Instagram.
